European Corporate Foresight Group 

The European Corporate Foresight Group was established in 2006. It is run by Technische Universität Berlin, the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management, Deutsche Telekom Laboratories and EICT.

The core competencies of the group are the organization of the annual conference held in Berlin and the international benchmarking projects in which companies are given the chance to compare their corporate foresight activities with those of other successful companies.

Corporate Foresight

Corporate Foresight encompasses a set of methods, processes, actors and organisation forms that
enable large companies to identify, assess, and act upon opportunities and threats, that have been
identified as weak signals in the periphery.

Corporate Foresight aims at identifying these weak signals on:

- consumer needs and socio-cultural trends

- emerging technologies

- products, services and business models of competitors

- political developments
